| The Bay Area Woodturners Association (BAWA) is a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. Our purpose is to provide a meeting place for local turners to share ideas and techniques and to educate the general public regarding the art of turning. The association meets the second Saturday of each month (see
map for time and place) and periodically sponsors exhibitions and demonstrations by local and internationally known turners. |

| Greetings! Welcome to our workshop. There is much to discover, so make yourself at home and enjoy! Along the top, is our main navigation. Clicking any one of those links will open a new page and additional links to the left. |

| We are centered in the East Bay, just to the right of San Francisco, cartographically speaking (unless your map has south at the top). Our members gather from all over Alameda and Contra Costa counties and points beyond. We meet at 10:00 am at the location described
here. There, we enjoy a demonstration of technical interest, followed by show and tell focusing on the turnings brought in by members and guests. Then we have a wood raffle where people try to either clear out or load up their shops (sometimes both). And finally, we are ready to begin. Just kidding! Then we go home to turn, turn, turn! |
